Team Sports
As a small school, students contribute to tightly-bonded teams where no teammate is left out. Besant Hill School’s “no-cut” policy ensures each student a spot on any team. During practice, we strive to reinforce the transferable skills developed by participating on a team while practicing drills to improve athletic ability and performance. Rather than expecting perfection, we consider mistakes necessary for personal and team growth. Our emphasis at Besant Hill School is to promote respect for the game, team-focused skills, sportsmanship, and having fun. We win when our teams are committed to learning and each other.

Being located in Ojai, our school benefits from accessible outdoor sports like rock climbing and surfing, well-trained fitness professionals for weight-lifting and yoga, and local veteran dancers and performers.
